On Tuesday 13 September at 18:30 Villa Carlotta (Tremezzina) hosts the concert for Cello and Piano - Contrasts of Arte Solidale Festival.
Cellist Anna Litvinenko and pianist Danilo Mascetti collaborate again for a chamber music recital that will compare Parisian and German Romantic music.
The concert will begin with I. Stravinsky's Suite Italienne, a neoclassical piece full of humor and vitality written for the Ballets Russes, and the first part will end with the moving and intense Nocturne by A. Jolivet.
The second part will be dedicated to the famous Second Sonata by J. Brahms, who often visited Villa Carlotta, which has hosted the concerts of the Arte Solidale Festival since the first edition. The very young pianist Giorgio Colleoni will open the concert performing the Sonatina by M. Ravel.
It will be possible to visit the famous gardens of the Villa before the beginning of the concert.
