The Apennines woods in autumn are represented by the paintbrushes and the pens of one of the most celebrated Italian botanical artists: Lucilla Carcano.
Lucilla Carcano learned to draw as an illustrator for an advertising agency, went to university, where she graduated with honours in Biological Sciences, worked as a botanical illustrator, collaborating with the WWF, the Abruzzo National Park, the Sapienza University of Rome and many publishers.
Her botanical watercolours have been on shown in Italy, England, Australia and the United States.
