Description
After two years, the unmissable Varenna Lake Festival is back!
"Unlike previous editions, on Friday 1 July the appointment is at the Riva Grande at 22:00 for the unmissable historical re-enactment of the landing of refugees from the Isola Comacina, which this year will take place on a separate day from the day on which the fireworks will be fired. On Saturday 2 July, an evening with eyes and noses turned upwards, along the Passerella Giorgio Mornico and lakeside at 23:15 where the sensational fireworks will be the undisputed stars of the evening".
The event is organised by the Pro Loco di Varenna, with the patronage of the municipality of Varenna.

- Friday 1 July 9 p.m. inauguration of the Varenna municipal boat "Lucia" - 10 p.m. historical re-enactment at the riva Grande.
- Saturday 2 July 23:15 fireworks on the lake.
Special car ferry race departing from Varenna for Menaggio and Bellagio at 00:30. - Sunday 3 July street food from 11:00 until the end of the evening
During the three days of the festival, Street Food will be held in Olivedo, with an area equipped with tables and small structures, food trucks and dedicated stands with the best products cooked on the spot and to be savoured 'on the fly', representing the best of Italian cuisine and beyond.
In the event of bad weather, the event will be postponed to a date to be determined.
